This project was created in collaboration with my husband, Sumil. He wrote the text based on William Dalrymple’s book and I coded and designed the interactive. I used the Mapbox’s scrollytelling template to plot each location of the diamond and used some java script and css to customize and style the page. Illustrated on my ipad on Procreate and used a bit of After Effects for the animation on the diamond.

I designed and illustrated this interactive in collaboration with Kai, Martin and Xing for © Science. This piece was created during the peak of Covid when people were attending large events without masks before the vaccines were developed. Used Illustrator and After Effects to create this piece. Received a premier award and BCA Medical Education Award at the BioCommunications Association.

Starting from the early days of the periodic table to the current state, this interactive takes your through the journey of how the periodic table has evolved. Created for © Science in collaboration with Jake and Elbert. I illustrated the portraits in Procreate and designed/prototyped in Illustrator. It won Silver Medal in Digital Design Competition, issued by Society for News Design in 2020.

Vallabhacharya gave discourses on the Srimad Bhagavat scripture at 84 locations around India. They are known as Chaurāsi (84) Baithak (चौरासी बैठक). In this project I collaborated with Sumil Desai to create an interactive map that has information about each of the Baithak. Click on the icons to learn more. The map was created and styled in Mapbox. Sumil Desai scrapped the data and images for each location.
