CASE STUDY 4: Executive Presentation Design-GitHub

Overview

This project was an executive-level presentation designed to communicate the importance of eliminating environment drift and modernizing CI/CD pipelines. The audience included senior stakeholders on a customer end and technical decision-makers who needed a clear, high-level narrative on how GitHub tools could improve delivery confidence, audit readiness, and overall developer experience.

My Role

I led the end-to-end design of the presentation, working closely with subject matter experts to understand the technical content, shape the storyline, and design the visual assets. My focus was to simplify highly technical details into a narrative that was both executive-friendly and visually engaging.

Process Highlights

  1. Content Structuring: Interviewed SMEs to distill key themes into a storytelling arc: Problem → Risks → GitHub Solution → Outcomes → Benefits.

  2. Visual Narrative: Transformed text-heavy technical explanations into diagrams, iconography, and layouts optimized for executive consumption.

  3. Design System Integration: Applied GitHub’s Primer design system by using Mona Sans, brand colors, and card-style layouts to create a presentation that felt native to GitHub’s brand.

  4. Template Frameworks: Built slide templates and layouts that could scale across future executive briefings and be reused for additional GitHub-focused decks.

Impact

  • Delivered a polished, narrative-driven deck that clarified technical complexity for leadership.

  • Strengthened executive understanding of GitHub’s value in securing CI/CD pipelines.

  • Established reusable templates and frameworks for consistent, scalable presentation design.
